Last evening Paul and I had a date night at the beach. How lovely, to be always surrounded by beaches. There is something special about living on an Island, and I never want to move off this rock again, unless it is to a smaller, more romantic rock nearby. We photographed a friend's wedding on this beach, and we watched as sea otters and seals played while the marriage vows were being said. My photographer husband took our photo too, after the Bride and Groom left. As I played on that beach, turning over stones, and writing messages in the sand, I remembered that here, on this island, lay my roots.
