The Simple Stuff
Sometimes I wonder who gets more excited when I buy new toys for the boys. I see something in the store, usually a second hand shop, and I get a thrill when I think of how the boys will love this new truck, or whatever it is. However, no matter what I buy, it doesn't compare to what we already own: dirt, mud, water and sticks. I took the boys to a train park up Island. Did they even care about riding on the train? No. Were they interested in all of the logging equipment? Not really. Luke just wanted to play with stones on the playground. He didn't even care about the playground itself. Boys will be boys.
