A New Beginning

You'd better watch what you pray for. That is what our family learned this past winter. We really needed a home of our own. So we prayed and prayed, and God provided. He loves to take care of us. Speaking of taking care, thanks to my parents for allowing our family of four to live with them for the past sixteen months, as we begin our lives afresh!

Who would have thought that our first house would be our Dream House! We found a beautiful "little" log cabin here on the island. It sits next to a gorgeous lake, separated only by one road, and some evergreens.

There is room in the yard for the boys to run wild, and to climb trees. To explore. To live, surrounded by nature. Inside, warm logs glow in the sun light. An old era meets our lifetime, as we dust off log walls, and creep up log stairs. Big river rocks wait for us at the fire place. A red carpeted old school room is longing to be filled up with desks, maps, books, and toys.

We love our new house! We thank God for providing this for us!
