Paul and I decided to take Adam to a real pumpkin patch recently. He was so thrilled to crawl around as he pleased, and to touch everything. It wasn't one of those fake pumpkin patches either, where they dump some pumpkins in a parking lot, along with some hay bales, and surround it with chain link fence (that's what they do in the city by the way). No, we took him to an actual pumpkin farm, and he got to eat dirt and everything! Of course we bought him a tiny pumpkin as it is one of the only 'toys' that we can find that wasn't made in China.
